You likely experience blistering or skin cracking. The skin which is not supposed to be treated can also lighten up permanently if the medication comes in its contact. Other allergic reactions include rashes, itching, severe dizziness, swelled face or throat, and trouble in breathing. So, Avoid prolonged sun exposure, sunlamps, and tanning booths. Put up a habit of protective clothing and cover the treated areas of skin when outdoors. Benoquine is not a mild bleaching agent. It offers permanent skin discoloration so it is not preferable to use for freckling, melasma, hyperpigmentation,café-au-lait-spots, malignant melanoma, and pigmented nevi.
