If you are using this medication as the curative measure of Seborrheic dermatitis, apply a 10% shampoo solution on your scalp.
Remember that your doctor has advised you to use this medication considering its benefits more than risks. Side effects of Cetrimide Solution include stinging, mild burning, redness, and dryness of skin where medication is applied. You likely experience blistering or skin cracking. The skin which is not supposed to be treated can also lighten up permanently if the medication comes in its contact. Other allergic reactions include rashes, itching, severe dizziness, swelled face or throat, and trouble in breathing
Nausea and vomiting, necrosis, hemolysis, esophageal damage, and burns are some rare and serious side effects

Cetrilak Cetrimide Solution is used along with other medicines to treat scalp psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis, conditions characterized by symptoms such as scaly, red, itchy patches of the scalp and persistent dandruff
Save your eyes, nose, and mouth getting exposed to Cetrimide Solution and if by chance they get so, splash water immediately. After this medication, your skin would turn very sensitive to the sun. So, Avoid prolonged sun exposure, sunlamps, and tanning booths. Put up a habit of protective clothing and cover the treated areas of skin when outdoors. Keep this medication away if you are pregnant or on breastfeeding. Safety and efficacy not established for children.
