How Does Demelan Cream Work In Skin Lightening?
Let us understand the biological working by taking the example of the best skin lightening cream, i.e. Demelan Cream.
Demelan cream has 3 main ingredients to it that makes it highly effective. They are Kojic Acid (2% w/w), Arbutin (5% w/w), and Glycolic acid (10% w/w). These chemicals oxidizes the melanocytes and inhibit pigments and thus lightening the skin.
How To Use Demelan Cream At Home?
Clean and dry the area of application. Apply a thin film of Demelan cream and rub it into the skin well. Perform this twice a day to the areas in need of bleaching/lightening. Wash your hands after the application.
Note: Apply only the area to be bleached or pigmented area and not on the normal skin. Application on normal skin area will result in a lightening of that part also, thus making the skin tone uneven.
