How Does Hydroquinone 4 % Cream Work On Acne?
Let us understand the biological working by taking the example of the best hydroquinone cream, i.e. Melalite Cream.
Hydroquinone 4% cream decreases the number of melanocytes present in the skin layer by the help of the active ingredient present, i.e. Hydroquinone 4% w/w. These melanocytes are responsible for making melanin. Melanin is the agent which decides your skin tone. Thus, by decreasing melanin, you are reducing your skin darkening. Controlling melanocytes over time, also makes your skin even-toned.
It takes, on average, 4 weeks to show visible effect and a few months for a full result.
How To Use Hydroquinone 4 % Cream To Treat Melasma?
Clean and dry the area of application. Apply a thin film of Melalite Forte cream and rub it into the skin well. Perform this twice a day to the areas in need of bleaching/lightening. Wash your hands after the application.
Note: Apply only the area to be bleached or pigmented area and not on the normal skin. Application on normal skin area will result in a lightening of that part also, thus making the skin tone uneven.
